Bought myself a pair of used pair of Bose X's on EBAY for christmas. Damn these things rock. They are lighter, quiter and clearer than my old (3years old) 20XL LightSpeeds. So the LightSpeeds are regulated to co-pilot status. Nothing like flying a mint 1958 Ercoupe with state of the art headsets. I use to get thumbs up before but now I get a wow look now also.

Fri, July 6, 2007 - 8:08 PMIf you are doing the long haul, you ought to look at Alof Clarity. These things are light weight and work like ear plugs. The design makes for comfort and quiteness. I have lent mine out to ATP pilots and they have switched.
